Assessment on the management of UPE capitation grant in primary schools under decentralization policy in Mukono district

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to make an assessment on the management of the UPE Capitation grant in primary schools under decentralization policy in Mukono district. The study focused on; How UPE capitation grant was managed, what challenges were posed in the management of UPE capitation grant and what measures could be taken to strengthen the management of UPE capitation grant. The study employed a descriptive, qualitative research design 10 conducting the investigation.
